SESSION preparation
LOCATION
Your session will take place at my private studio located at 436 S. Main St. 15220. There is plenty of metered on-street parking right outside of my studio and in the lot across the street.
SKIN & HAIR
Please arrive with skin makeup free, exfoliated, and lightly moisturized, including your lips. Hair should be clean (unless one day dirty is best) and blown dry. My professional stylist has a large kit of makeup, including false lashes and hair products, but you can feel free to bring any beloved products of your own.
WARDROBE
You can’t bring too much! Having choices is always a great idea, and remember to bring whole outfits, including jewelry (if you wear jewelry) and shoe choices to go with your clothing options. Make sure to bring clothing pieces that make you feel good about yourself because the most important visual in your photographs is you. Stay away from too many patterns and be sure to choose clothing styles and colors that match your brand. Also be sure to choose clothing that is best for your body type. Choose pieces that accentuate what you love about yourself, while camouflaging what you don’t. Need help? That’s what I’m here for so don’t hesitate to reach out to me for help. Having a plan in place is definitely a good idea!
WHAT TO EXPECT
The first 10 minutes will be dedicated to nailing down your wardrobe choices so please come with what you know you want to wear in mind. You will then be placed into the talented hands of a professional Elizabeth Craig Photography stylist (if you have Package One you will arrive with your makeup already completed). Hair and makeup takes about 1 hour. After you have been glammed to the max, we will begin photographing, which takes approximately 20 - 30 minutes per outfit. Following your session, I will download your unedited images and we will take some time to choose the ones you’d like for me to edit. Once your selections have been made, you’ll be on your way and I will edit and complete your photos within a week, at which time they will be uploaded to your private online gallery. This gallery will stay active for as long as is stated in your Package and can be used for viewing, sharing, and downloading.
