Heidi & Matt...
These are a few of my fav photos from the wedding we photographed this past Saturday. I loved this shot. Heidi's choice of veil was so unique and made for fantastic photos. This one looks like it could've been taken 50 years ago. I loved it.
Again--I just loved Heidi's veil. It made for some sultry photos. I love shooting close up and this veil just made the shot.
I loved her position in this shot. Her parents had that awesome book shelf and fireplace on their far wall which made for a great backdrop. And anytime I can utilize a stool I do...no matter how you sit on it, it makes a girl position herself in such a specific way that you can't go wrong with a picture. :)
I have also found that one of my most favorite positions for me to stand in to photograph a woman is above her. There is something very flattering about getting her face in focus and letting the photograph blur as it travels down the body.
This was Matthew's neice...isn't she adorable?? I just happened to catch her mid-sentence here so don't let her fool you with that shy look. :) She LOVED the camera and that made my day.
I love focusing on one part of a photo and blurring out the rest. I think it kind of tells a story.
I just really liked this shot.
I really love when videographers are part of the reception. Using the lights on their cameras for dramatic effects can be pretty cool. I shot on a really high ISO specifically looking for a lot of grain to mix in with the backlighting. I love this shot.
Again--love focusing on one thing while blurring out another. :)
Thanks Heidi and Matthew for letting us be a part of your day! Slideshow coming soon...
