Pittsburgh Wedding Photography | Lee-Anna & Joe

Well I finished Lee-Anna and Joe's wedding from last Saturday and I just had to post a few portraits from their day. Lee-Anna was going for a sweet Hollywood Glam-style and I just loved it. It was so much fun playing around with the photos and trying new things to go along with her style for the day. I just love odd croppings so of course this photo jumped out at me. Check out Lee-Anna's waves...so 1955!

Pittsburgh is such an incredibly beautiful place to photograph. The city is amazing but it's really all the little nook neighborhoods that I adore. Everywhere you look it's like you could be walking down the same exact street in Brooklyn Heights, NY. The architecture of the old buildings that people live in and have restored offer such amazing and romantic backdrops to our photos. It was a no-brainer to have Lee-Anna & Joe sit on this front stoop. With Lee-Anna's look it all came together so nicely. ;-) This was right across the street from their church, Calvary United Methodist Church on the North Side (same area as our studio).

I loved this photo of Joe. He had a great photogenic quality to him and John had the idea to seat him next to this colorful hydrant. LOVED IT! Sexy man! ;-)

I.Love.This.Photo. It is so romantic to me! Lee-Anna & Joe held their reception at the Renaissance on 6th St. and, conveniently, there was a festival right across the Clemente Bridge, which closed the bridge down to car traffic - hee hee! So we just had a ball. John had the idea to put Lee-Anna & Joe up on the iron of the bridge. I saw this shot and couldn't help but grab it. It's one of my fav's of the day. :)
