Pittsburgh Wedding Photographers | Westminster Presbyterian Church | Upper St. Clair Country Club
Meet Mary & Ian. :) John & I were thrilled to work with Mary & Ian and I have to say...what a smooth and beautiful day it really was. If you live in Pittsburgh then you know alllllllll the rain that has been gifted to us from the heavens lately and guess what?? Mother Nature showed up at her best on Saturday. The sun was shining, the breeze was light and the skies were lit up like a spring day should be. ;-) I love photographing at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Upper St. Clair because it is a church of windows - big, huge windows just letting light stream in. And photographing at St. Clair Country Club is nothing to sneeze at either. Quite quite quite lovely.
I heart the getting ready part of the day so much. There is so much activity and energy. This is also the time most brides see a lot of the details of their day for the first time so it's exciting to see the reactions. Look at Mary as she sees her niece's, who was the flower girl, flower basket. So adorable! And look at that flower girl! Give me a spoon 'cuz I'm diggin' in...I could just eat her up!
So LOOK at this dress. It's so simple, yet so incredibly detailed. Mary just looked stunning in this gown (photos coming soon!) I loved that the waist not only had a band of ribbon with such intricate beading but that it was actually sewn into the lacing. Brilliant.
And just look at this group of good lookin' guys, huh?? If I wouldn't have gotten some awkward glances and a stretch of long, drawn out shocked silence I would've been pinching cheeks. ;-) Plus check out the pseudo-mohawk on Ian. Love it! Oh yeah...he showed up for his day. Yep.
