Pittsburgh Wedding Photography | Mindy & Ed | The Mansion at Maple Heights
Nothing like a super-sweet, intimate Jewish wedding, huh?? I hope you remember Mindy & Ed. Last I blogged about this dynamic duo I was telling you about their Engagement Session. Walking around the North Side with these 2 was a lot of fun and it really made their wedding day so much more personal to me. It was awesome to be a part of their wedding day and enjoy all the smiles, giggle at the jitters and share in the sweetness of their day. I ADORED their venue for the ceremony and reception. They did everything at The Mansion at Maple Heights. If you're not familiar with this little gem tucked back in a quiet little corner off of 5th Ave. in Oakland then let me enlighten you. Before its current owner, it was a bed and breakfast. The current owner purchased it for his home and then 2 yrs after he turned it back into a bed and breakfast and now throws the most lavish weddings and events there. You may have heard of this guy: Chukky Okobi. Very sweet guy to work with and so was his girlfriend, who runs the place with him. I really loved this place...as a matter of fact, this is where I want my 10 year anniversary party! Yes John, we're having a 10 year anniversary party. Did I forget to tell you that?? ;-)
So here are a few sneak peeks from the ceremony. A few little details...
Purple satin kippahs! Love it!
And a little slice of the old 'Burgh on the inside...of course! ;-)
Seriously folks...just LOOK at this place!! WOWSA! Just stunning!
Loved this little added extra in Mindy & Ed's programs: they made sure to write up a little story about how they met and the beginning of their relationship. It really added a personal touch for their guests. Just a little story about a boy in love with a fiery redhead... ;-)
Mazel Tov!!
Lots and lots more to come!
