Pittsburgh Engagement Photography | Marci & David

Happy Thursday to everyone! :) Meet Marci & David. I had the pleasure of photographing their Engagement Session last night and we had a terrific time! Marci & David met while scuba diving so they wanted to incorporate water, somehow, into their session so...what's a girl to do (insert photo of me in the "Thinker" pose here).....hmmmm....I got it! Let's go traipsing through a creek! So now you're asking yourself, "Did she honestly make this couple walk through a creek for photos??" No, I did not. I walked through the creek to get a good angle for this photo (I want to impress you by saying how hard that was to do and how wet I got and how much I give and give to my clients but it would just be a big fat lie. I loved it, every moment of it. The country girl in me hides occasionally but she's still there climbing trees and meandering through creeks ;-)). Buuuuut....I did, however....

...make them both swing together on a rope swing for this shot. It doesn't look like they're swinging here but trust me....they went wayyy out. I was so proud of them!

And this is one of my faves from the day. :) A little bit of creative flash placement (thank you Alisa!) in the woods just when you think you're running out of light and boom! What a shot. ;-)
