Jasmine & Gabe | Pittsburgh Engagement Photography
Ohhhhh my. Oh my. Oh my. Oh my. Who rents a U-Haul truck and forces her husband to trapse around Hartwood Acres putting together an antique wrought-iron bed for an Engagement Session? Oh c'mon....like I really need to answer that. ;-)
Meet Jasmine & Gabe. When Jasmine and I were pinning and emailing back and forth coming up with ideas for her and Gabe's E-Session the notion of creating a romantic, snuggly part of the shoot just lept right into my head. And how better to make that happen than a bed in a field?? And do you see that quilt? Jasmine's grandmother began quilting that beauty as soon as she heard that Gabe proposed. The entwined circles represent the rings in a marriage...never separated. And when Gabe proposed he did so with scrabble letters (how cute!!) He set up a whole scene so Jasmine made sure to incorporate that theme into the shoot as well which, of course, I loved.
And I couldn't help but do this last series in black and white. Something about the cropping of the photos and the sweetness of Jasmine & Gabe seemed to only be enhanced by showing this in black and white.
