Gina & Jonathan | Cleveland Museum of Art Weddings
So here it is! The highly anticipated wedding of Gina & Jonathan. You got a teensy peek before but here is the whole sha-bang folks and you're gonna love it! It was magnificent! The decor, the music, the food, the dancing....just amazing. Gina & Jonathan treated their guests to so much I don't even know where to begin. First, just having this event at the Cleveland Museum of Art was treat enough. John and I had the chance to walk thru some of it the day before and the installations were amazing. And it's free to the public! The museum just added on their giant atrium and Gina & Jonathan were the first couple to hold a wedding reception in that space. Outside, a giant tent was erected for cocktail hour while a string quartet played music. It was simply beautiful and so majestic to see this tent with the lovely decor standing tall on the stone and marble grounds.
Inside, the "Outdoor Italian Garden" theme was brought together by having large pillared structures designed and built to create a more intimate setting. Tree branches laced the pillars and gorgeous gold fabric was strewn atop the faux ceilings and bedecked by a lovely chandelier hanging over each table. And here is what I loved about this: each chandelier not only had candles placed throughout but also had pinpoint lighting on each so that as the sun set, an entirely different lighting effect took place, bringing in a whole new look and feel of elegance and warmth. Each table was topped with the most incredible floral arrangements, while the family/wedding party tables also received the royal treatment of having a totally different linen arrangement and vintage, elaborately decorated dinnerware. There were more lemon trees than a whole garden could handle! There were garden arrangements erected to showcase the trees, along with other florals and greenery.
Both Gina & Jonathan looked incredible! Gina's gown was so crazy gorgeous as you can see but that's not the best part of her Monique Lhuillier gown....it was a 2-piece gown. So Gina was able to wear the corset sheath with a full tulle overlay skirt for the ceremony, then remove the skirt for a more sleek look for the reception. Also, as you'll see, Gina styled her hair differently for each look as well, which really set off everything. And I know you can't see them but I just have to give a shout out to the Christian Louboutin Gina wore....just incredible.
The rest of the night was set off by a very talented orchestra, with a beautiful featured singer along to set off a few songs. An Italian band was then brought in to get the dancing going, and finally, the rest of the night of dancing was finished off with dj-ing all the latest hits. The dancefloor was PACKED.
This was such a beautiful day!! So many laughs, so many hugs, a few tears and a ton of happiness that flowed from the start of the day till the very last guest left.
Thank you to both families for such an incredible day. :)
