Rustic Farm Weddings | Pittsburgh
Holy. Moly. Do I have one stunner of a wedding for you today. There is so much to tell you about this day I don't even know where to begin. First, we love when we are invited to photograph a wedding at someone's home. It's intimate, personal and so relaxed because it's "home". It's where knees were skinned, tickle fights ensued, secrets were shared, tears have been dried, hearts have been filled, hearts have been broken....there are so many stories and so much energy in a home. Imagine how magnified that is when you share one of the most important days of your life in that space. It's incredible. And this day was nothing short of fantastically incredible. We were so honored to be a fly on a wall this day. There were funny speeches, hugs that remained just a moment longer, touching moments shared in just a look and so. much. dancing. SO MUCH DANCING!!!!! With that, I have to give a HUGE shout out to Studio E Band. We've worked with them quite a few times and we're always impressed but let me tell you, they were on fiyah on this night. I mean, they kept that dance floor packed all night and what's more, they truly engaged with the crowd. They were there to play, folks. And MAN did they just bring it! It was magical.
And one more shout out here: Ms. Rania....you are just lovely (as you can see in one of the photos below, the hosts of the evening, parents of the bride, thought so as well when they brought her out during their speeches to thank her in front of all the guests). You are talented, kind and you run a tight ship (which you cannot imagine how much we appreciate). Every time we work with you we are just delighted with you and your team. Thanks for another great night!
So back to this incredible day: birdhouses, friendly puppy dogs, little boys in Chucks, food that was to die for, decor that beamed and just look at the grounds we had the pleasure of enjoying for the day. It was remarkable!
I want to note a few things: make sure to notice one of the ring bearers that played the piano for guests, the doggies that were just as much a part of the day as every human, the stunning hair clip in the bride's hair, courtesy of her wonderful groom, that romantic Monique Lhuillier gown...stay with me here....a surprise airplane fly by so an arial photo of all the guests could be taken with the bride and groom (thanks to the bride's parents) AND, as if that weren't enough, surprise fireworks for everyone to enjoy at the end of the evening!
PHEW! And I'm spent.
