Mary & Kostas | Greek Orthodox Weddings | Pittsburgh Wedding Photographer
Oh-me-oh-my...what an adorable couple I give to you today. We first met Mary & Kostas over a year ago and we knew instantly that we were going to love photographing their wedding day. Both of them are pretty quiet, but both of them are also giant mounds of sugar. So sweet together and so lovely individually; Mary with her sparkly smile that goes all the way up to her eyes, and Kostas with his warm, quiet nature always just one step behind Mary. Though photographing at Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral was a first for us, we have photographed this faith before, but not for a long time so it was wonderful to see all the traditions again. And of course you can never go wrong with a reception at the Carnegie Museum of Art. No matter where you turn there is something beautiful to photograph.
The night was full of funny and heartwarming speeches, lots and lots of hugs and joy as Kostas had a ton of people fly in from Greece (how awesome is that??) The night was swept away in a sea of big belly laughs, lots of drinks and a pretty packed dance floor. My favorite was watching Mary dance with her brother and all the Greek dances. Buckets of fun!
