Brittany & Nick | Pittsburgh Wedding Photographer
Eeeeeeeee!!!!! Today I get to unload some fierce gorgeousness upon you and I couldn't be more excited! I know you got a teensy taste from my sneak peek, but just feast your eyes upon the beauty of this day. This day was magical straight from the beginning. As soon as I walked into the suite at the Omni William Penn to begin my day I was made to feel like family. Being a fly on the wall so was so wonderful! Brittany was completely surrounded by friends that had touched all phases of her life and watching her mom and her future mother-in-law share giggles and whispers while drinking champagne in their comfy robes was just adorable. No kidding it was like being at a sorority gathering. At one point, while Brittany was getting her hair styled, all her gal pals gathered around on the floor and plopping down on chairs while they all took turns talking about funny memories they had shared with this gorgeous bride. It was so lovely to just melt right into the walls and listen while capturing some of the sweetest smiles.
And the rest of the day simply followed that line of goodness. The first look was so incredibly romantic and watching the debonair Nick turn to see his future wife all dolled up just for him was an amazing moment. And I will say, Nick was quite the good sport. You could tell he wanted to be absolutely anywhere instead of in front of my camera but he brought his A-game and we zipped through at a good pace so we could get on with all the festivities.
And what a party it was! The tears as they read their self-written vows to each other, the dance floor so full at the reception I had a hard time elbowing my way in so I could capture all the fun. The band played, the guests drank, ate and danced the night away. It was wonderful to see Brittany and Nick out on that dance floor all night too. Lots of times the couple gets a bit caught up in walking around and doesn't make it to the fun stuff so it was awesome to see them living it up.
And just when you thought it was all winding down, the ballroom doors opened back into the Urban Room for an after party. All I can say is, I hope everyone got a good night's sleep because they never stopped moving! From one dance floor to the other, the party stayed in high-gear all night long.
