How to Get Confident in Your Photography Posing

I get a lot of emails and messages about posing from photographers, and mostly boudoir photographers. I have no idea why, but posing always came easily to me. I mean, it took time to get confident in what I was doing but it took even more time to get efficient in a flow that allowed me to move from one pose right to the next.

To get confident in posing, I knew I had to have a starting and a stopping point for each outfit. Otherwise, I just kept on going because I wasn’t sure if I nailed it enough to move on. I realized that if I pre-assigned set of poses for each area of my studio I could eliminate the guess work, thus becoming efficient and quick in my sessions. This has saved me a billion times. When I want to be creative and work outside of those poses, I do. When I want to move quickly, yet still provide an incredible experience for my clients while ensuring they walk away with gorgeous photos, I have use my pre-designed set list and know with confidence that it’s fail-safe.

If you struggle with what poses to use and where, I came up with a whole bunch so you don’t have to, just in case you’re in the market for some easy help. And don’t forget to grab your copy of my Free Posing Tips Guide for Photographers. Lots of yummy tips in there you don’t wan to miss out on!
