Six Years, One Wedding, and Three Babies Later

My first session with A, which was 6 years ago, was pretty amazing. In fact, one of the photographs from her session is one of my favorites of all time and hangs in my studio. I have used this photo over and over and over again for so much of my promotional work and it received so many comments over the years I lost count.

For this first session, it was all about sensuality and romance. It was to be a gift to her soon-to-be husband. My guess is that he loved it because A came back for round 2 to celebrate their upcoming 6th wedding anniversary.

I was over the moon with A’s choices of wardrobe. She purchased the exact right things for her body type and chose what she loved. That sounds like a no-brainer but you might be surprised how many women bring wardrobe that they know their partner will love, but not necessarily what they love. It makes a huge difference in the photoshoot because when you don’t feel like you look your best, it’s hard to let go and enjoy yourself for the photos. A’s style is simple, super feminine, and romantic. That’s how it was the first time around and this is how it was this time. Although…wait till you see her last outfit. *jawdrop*

I had the best time hearing all about her life over the last 6 years. Six years isn’t that long of a time, yet just long enough for A to grow into her life as a mother, wife, and an amazing woman enjoying all that she and her husband have built so far. Being even a tiny part of my client’s lives over the years is such a gift to me.
