Phipps Conservatory Weddings and Receptions-0067 Very very excited to share this gorgeous wedding at Phipps with Tiffany & Jimil. I'm not sure if you remember this awesome couple but we met them last year while discussing their wedding plans and John and I knew instantly we had to work with this couple. Funny, laid back, creative and so gaga for each other...we were excited to see where the year led them. Turns out it led them to a gorgeous day in June at Phipps Conservatory, with the mad stylings of Shayla Hawkins Events {SHE} and an absolutely beautiful day, provided by Mother Nature herself (and if you've been familiar with the 'Burgh's weather lately you know what a miracle that is).

Tiffany & Jimil both had a laid back beginning to their day. Deciding to only have 1 bridesmaid (Tiffany's beautiful sister) and 1 groomsmen (Jimil's best friend) made the day so relaxed...no chaos, no crowded hotel rooms...just sitting back, relaxing, having some wine and some Beyonce tunes to get ready to (love Beyonce so very much).

And then we showed up at Phipps and POW I was so in love with the decor. April Mason, of Mocha Rose Floral Designs, always delivers such a classic romance to her work and this was no different. Giant peonies bedecked the whole place and I LOVED the dance floor ceiling, covered with white globe lanterns and wisteria florals. My favorite, however, was the floral and moss covered wooden boards hung from the ceilings of the tent, draping down ever so lovely and those pops of pink just made it. So feminine and so gorge. {SHE} brought it all together with their intimate and romantic approach to the seating, linens and overall design of this fantastical setup.

The ceremony had 7 readers (yes...7) and you would think that would be overkill but it truly was not. Each reader was given a specific subject to create their own reading about and it was so incredibly touching and so very intimate. I thought it turned a ceremony for just Tiffany & Jimil into a beautiful event for everyone in attendance. And then we just partied all night long right up to the very tippy toed end of the evening.

We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day with a more beautiful couple. Thank you Tiffany & Jimil for making our job so easy and so delightful. xoxo.
