Releasing 2021 to Welcome 2022

Well, I doubt I’m the only person that can think of about 3 million things to release from 2021. If you’ve been following me then you know this past year has been just the teensiest bit transformative for me. I’m still exhausted…

I released a marriage. I released a family that I had been a part of since 2002. I released a home I had lived in since 2007. I released the safety and security that came with old patterns and traditional ways of doing things. I released versions of relationships. I released some relationships all together. I released an old version of myself that needed to be thanked, honored, and let go. Not to mention losing an Instagram account I’ve had since 2012. I know this last bit seems trivial, but trust me, I’m picking up on the significance in a variety of ways. There is so much more, but out of respect for your eyes and time, I’ll move on.

Because I released all of these things, I was able to make space for so much that needed to come in, and these are the things I’ll carry with me into and throughout 2022. I am gaining a new friendship from an old marriage. I’m gaining a renewed relationship with my daughter that is so surprising and fulfilling. I’m honoring a new and updated vision of who I think I am and who I want to be. I am welcoming a new business adventure that I can feel is going to take me places I could never have reamed of physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I am delightfully embracing new friendships and acquaintances that are opening my mind and, most importantly, my heart.

Even though I gained not just a little heartache through 2021, I’m so proud to say that somehow I was able to do the work and transform some of that into patience, understanding, wisdom, forgiveness, and an open heart for the future.

Whatever your 2021 was for you, I hope you can say goodbye to it in a way that feels good to you. I can’t wait to follow all of your stories and journeys throughout 2022! May your year be filled with beauty, love, abundance, powerful lessons, deep belly laughs, more hugs than you think you can handle, and a bountiful of whatever it is that fills you up to the brim with joy.

Peace, love, and lots of reiki to each of you. ;-)
